Part of my favorite part of owning the shop is seeing all the wonderful works of art created by the customers. Here are some examples for your enjoyment.
KNIT GALLERY
My sister taught me to knit at age 8 and I have been an avid knitter ever since. My favorite things to knit right now are for my grandkids. If you have a favorite piece you would like to share send me an email and I can post it here. I find a lot of inspiration seeing other peoples work.
CROCHET
My mom taught me to crochet at age 8. She had 13 grandchildren with a 15 year age span. As each older grandchild went to college she made them an afghan to take with them. When it became apparent that she may not still be crocheting by the time her youngest grandchildren went to college she made the last five grandkids blankets when they were still in elementary school. My three kids still treasure their “Nanny” blanket.
